Hello everyone.
Today we are celebrating Spellbinders 20th birthday. I have a few cards to share with you using some of the products from the Birthday Celebrations Collection.
To see more from Spellbinders (CLICK HERE!) to shop or visit their blog for even more inspiration. I know there are tons of designers creating with this collection today, so check it out and get inspired.
The first card I made is mini slimline size and used the Topsy Turvy Cake die set NEW from the Birthday Celebrations Collection. I cut it from heavy weight white cardstock. I ink blended the layers and the icing as well as added a few mini prills to the bottom of the cake. I just glued them on using liquid adhesive.
The Sentiment is from the NEW Birthday Unboxing Glimmer sentiments. I used the coordinating die that comes in the set to cut it out. I used gold glimmer hot foil on Kraft.
I blended my background panel with the same rainbow of inks around the edge of my panel. I then used the NEW Hand Drawn Scallops embossing folder as well as the shimmer spray on the panel. Last but not least, I splattered some gold watercolor paint.
For my second card I made it size A2. I used a gray card base in a top folding orientation.
I then cut the NEW Color Block Balloons out of some cardstock and mounted them onto a panel cut to 3 1/2 by 4 3/4. This panel was also embossed with the party spots embossing folder.
The sentiment was stamped from the It's Party Time stamp set with watermark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Thank you for visiting my blog.
